Terms of service
Purpose
These terms govern the services of Bwanya.tech, a web development and design company: website creation and redesign, social media pages, visual identity, maintenance, hosting and domain management.
Demo
The demo is free, with no obligation, and viewable online. It is prepared separately, once the request has been studied. Full development of the website is subject to acceptance of the demo and the quote.
Quotes and prices
The published price is a “from” build price, in USD, excluding domain, hosting and third-party subscriptions; the final price depends on the project’s complexity. The accepted quote sets the scope, timeline, payment period and any recurring costs.
Delivery time
Building your website takes at least two weeks from the approval of the quote, the receipt of the necessary content and access, and the payment of domain and hosting fees where required. The exact timeline is agreed according to your project’s features.
Domain and hosting
An advance covering the necessary domain and hosting is required before they are booked. The domain is registered in the client’s name. Renewals are announced in advance; their cost may change with the provider’s prices.
Payment for our work
Our work is paid after the website goes live, within the period agreed in the quote. A payment is only considered received once verified.
Maintenance
Three months of maintenance are included from the go-live date. After that, annual maintenance is offered on an optional basis. Redesigns, advertising budgets and third-party subscriptions are excluded.
Handover of access
At the end of the engagement, and subject to payment of amounts due, we hand over access to the domain, to the hosting where applicable and to the delivered content.
Client content
The client warrants that they hold the rights to the text, logos and images they provide.
